May 10th huh?? It stormed for most of the day today, the sun finally came out and this is what the deck looked like. Where is spring????

Mother's Day Garden Party

It was time once again for the Playdate Preschool Mother's Day Garden Party. They invite us to a wonderful catered brunch in the yard at the school where they shower us with sweet gifts and the kids sing cute mommy songs to us. The kids (and teachers) work very hard to put this all together for us and it is very cute. Here is a collage of pictures of Micah and Talon singing for us:

Sushi Night!

I am so excited that I just found a great source for fish up here, Wild Little Fish (www.wildlittlefish.com) delivers fresh wild caught fish to Truckee on Fridays... hooray! For our first order from our new favorite fish guy, we decided to celebrate and get a beautiful piece of ahi and make some homemade sushi. Now that the kids are older and sushi is one of their favorite meals, they were very excited to try their hand. So, I started some sushi rice, picked up our goods from fish guy and we were rollin!

Happy 21st Michael!

I guess I am getting old, because my little brother just turned 21!!! Wow! We went down for the night to help celebrate, it was a quick trip, but nice to get down out of the snow to the 70 degree weather and to get a chance to catch visit my mom and brother. Here is Michael with his first 12 pack purchased with his id.

I am happy to say that I was back at home with the kids in bed at 9:00. Times sure have changed! Not sure when he got home that night, but I am sure that he was stoked that we were visiting when the kids jumped on him at 7:30am to wake him up....

Micah... the photoshoot

Our kids like to take pictures, mostly of each other, I mean who doesn't! Sometimes they have little photo shoots and you don't really know what you are going to get until you take the camera back yourself. There are different collections sometimes of the various animals in the house, still life of furniture, this particular collection of Ella's is of her brother. I think that she really captured him and wanted to share it with the world. This is Micah... the photo shoot:
