For those of you who know me well, I am sure that it will come as a total shock that I am a little (6 months) behind on our blog! HA! I could blame it on things like sick kids and password problems, but I think that the truth is we have just been having a really FUN summer! Here are the highlights to catch up to now!
Micah was a monkey for Halloween (of which I have no pictures, bad mom) but after Halloween we hit up the costume sales and found this gem. Micah really enjoys it!
The kids actually helped carve the pumpkins this year! Micah was very enthusiastic about helping clean them out...Ella not so much.

We went to Reno this year to pick out our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. Here are the kids walking through the meadow.

Ella found hers!

Micah liked to ride around in the wagon.

September was a busy month! We went back east to Newburyport, for 2 weeks for Cliff's Mom's wedding. We had so much fun back there, the wedding was a blast and the kids got to spend lot of time with their cousin Alex. We stayed with Cliff's sister Vickie, John and Alex it was a 2 week free for all for the kids.
Here are the kids apple picking at Cider Hill Farms.
They got along this well ALMOST all the time...

Kissin' cousins

Here they are 2, 3, 4. Needless to say there was a LOT of activity for 2 weeks.
Susan and Bruno thought we were only coming in for a week. With the help of Cliff's sister Vickie we moved our flight up 6 days and surprised them! Unfortunately this is the only picture that we have of the happy couple, don't they look surprised?

Another highlight of the summer was getting a boat. We spent most of the summer on it. To end the summer we went boat camping in Emerald Bay. It was AMAZING, there is nothing quite like waking up IN Emerald Bay.
The kids didn't wear many clothes the whole time

Not a bad view

Hope your summer was fun!

July is the Clifford family birthday month. It was filled with lots of cakes, ice cream and friends. Ella and Micah shared a party this year, we had a big blow out down by the river. Tie dying, fingerpainting, water balloon tossing...a good time was had by all.

Here is mom trying to organize the present opening chaos...

Don't forget the cake, here are the birthday kids enjoying theirs
Isn't it amazing how even the most acitve children will sit like angels for cake?

Ella was very excited to be a part of the 4th of July parade in Truckee this summer. Her preschool, Playdate, made a treasure chest. Ella was one of the jewels.

Here is our little jewel we were so proud of her for riding on the float all by herself with all her friends!

Micah had another mode of transport. Cliff and I rode our crusiers around the parade and Micah chilled out in the shade, chocolate milk in hand!

Happy 4th of July!
